  • Triamcinolone with Camphor, Menthol and / or Phenol (for pruritus, especially for chronic cases)
  • Hydroquinone, Hydrocortisone, Tretinoin (Combination Bleaching Creams)
  • Sal-acid, Mandelic, Glycolic, Lactic or Trichloroacetic Acids (for in-office chemical peels)
  • Lactic and / or Salicylic Acids (for wart removal, delivered in a water-resistant, flexible, occlusive base)
  • Anti-infectives (Metronidazole, Ketoconazole, Itraconazole, Fluconazole, Amphotericin. For any topical infections of the skin, nails, scalp, and / or mucous membranes)
  • Anesthecis (Lidocaine, Tetracaine, Benzocaine, Prilocaine. For anesthesia due to pain or for use prior to a procedure. Combinations of creams can also be compounded)
  • Anti-Inflammatories (Ketoprofen, Ibuprofen, Diclofenac. Available in various topical delivery systems and customized dosages)
  • Retinoic Acid (Available in customized strengths from 0.001% to 0.4%)
  • Hydroquinone (Available in various strengths up to 10%)

Below we have listed a few problem-solving ideas when a commercially available product fails to bring about the desired results.


Problem: Acne


4% Niacin amide gel Isotretionoin, Retinoic Acid Benzoyl peroxide, Sulfur, Resorcinol, Erythromycin, Clindamycin

Each of the above medications can be compounded into a cream, lotion or gel.


Problem: Onychomycosis


Fluconazole (compounded into a nail polish with DMSO).

The DMSO – Penetrates the nail bed, thus allowing the Fluconazole to work more directly at the site.

Bleaching Agents – Hydroquinone, Retinoic acid, each can be compounded into a cream, gel or lotion and in combination with lactic or glycolic acids.

Acyclovir lib balms, creams, lotions, Deoxy-d-glucose lip balms, creams and lotions.
